Inbound Events are used to react in a journey on an incoming event, such as an incoming SMS message. The Inbound Events that should be available for use, are defined in the Data Exchange entry and are available afterward for selection in the Event component of the journey.
The Start page is where all Inbound Events are accessed and managed.
All existing events are listed on the Start page with their name, type, description, modification date and usage. Action buttons allow to:
- edit an Inbound Event
- delete an Inbound Event. This is not possible if the Inbound Event is used in a journey.
To create a new Inbound Event, click the New option in the toolbar. The toolbar is common to all the different entries and following options are available from the drop-down list:
